Students who are choosing to study any kind of management degree at undergraduate or postgraduate level have certain reasons and expectations of their programme. Some want to continue running a family business, some want to become managers or leaders and a majority of students are looking for economic security in the future. But what skills do graduates need these days and are we teaching what is really needed? Are we assessing what is needed? Are we designing our programmes so they meet market needs? Why do we have issues of engaging students and are we tech fit “enough” to live up to the expectations of a new generation?
Workshops audience: This workshop is aimed at educationalists and practitioners in Management Learning, particularly (programme leaders/ directors, directors of learning and teaching) who are interested in shaping and designing a curriculum fit for a digitally infused generation and market.
Workshop structure: This will be a discussion-based workshop and attendees are invited to send their questions/ topics/ concerns they would like to discuss prior to the workshop via email to email@example.com. The workshop will start with a panel discussion around the issues we are currently facing and leading to small problem solving working groups. The workshop will finish with sharing the ideas of the working groups and lunch.
