Majan University College, Muscat, Oman

Majan University College (MUC) was established in 1995 as the first private sector higher education college in Oman, and has continued to be at the forefront of higher education in the Sultanate ever since. In December 2017, Majan achieved full institutional accreditation from the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA), and maintained its reputation as a trailblazer by being the first higher education institution in the country to do so. MUC is an accredited college of the University of Bedfordshire, UK, and operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education, Oman. It offers undergraduate programmes in Business Administration with 8 pathways, Finance, Accounting, Computing, Marketing, Islamic Banking and Finance, Computer and Internet Applications, Networking, and English Language. These are delivered in both full-time and part-time mode.

The University of Bedfordshire Master’s programmes offered include Business Administration (MBA), Computer Sciences, International Human Resources Management, and Applied Linguistics. 

Our contact is the College’s Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Nabila Al Macki. Nabila has an MBA in Financial Management from Hull University, UK. She has rich teaching experience particularly in the areas of Finance and Accounting for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Her research interests include curriculum development, teaching, learning and assessment strategies, leadership and staff development. In 2018 she became a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).
